Tips for Best Results
QR + Logo / Image embed your graphic via canvas compositing — error correction H is forced so up to 30% can be covered. Download SVG for print (scales without pixelation). A quiet zone of 4+ modules improves scanner reliability. All processing happens entirely in your browser — nothing is sent to any server.

Frequently Asked Questions
QWhat is the maximum amount of data a QR code can hold?
A QR code can hold up to 4,296 alphanumeric characters or 7,089 numeric-only digits at the lowest error correction level. In practice, shorter data produces smaller, more reliably scannable codes.
QWhat error correction level should I use?
Use M (15%) for most uses — it's the standard. Use Q or H when you plan to add a logo or expect the code to be printed on rough surfaces. Higher correction makes the QR larger but more resilient to damage.
QWhat is a quiet zone?
The quiet zone is the blank border around the QR code. A minimum of 4 modules is recommended by the QR spec to ensure reliable scanning. Reducing it below 2 may cause some scanners to fail.
QShould I download PNG or SVG?
Download SVG for any print use — it scales infinitely without pixelation. Use PNG for web, apps, or email where a fixed-pixel image is needed. The generator defaults to 320px PNG which is suitable for most digital uses.
QCan I add my logo to the QR code?
This generator produces the base QR image. To overlay a logo, set Error Correction to H (30%), download the PNG/SVG, then composite your logo in an image editor — covering no more than 30% of the center area.
QIs this QR code generator free and private?
Yes — completely free, no signup, no watermark. All QR generation runs in your browser using the open-source qrcode library. Your URLs, passwords, and data are never sent to any server.
